Anyone in the data center industry is welcome to join AFCOM. If you work in a data center, manufacture products or provide a service to the industry, or are currently studying computer science, you qualify for membership.

All AFCOM memberships are individual memberships. In the event the member changes employment, both the company and the member can retain the membership. All memberships are on a per year basis(12 months from the effective date).


Individual Membership
Coverage: One membership for one year
Fee: $300US per year
Requirements: None

Site Membership
Coverage: Three memberships for one year
Fee: $690US per year
Requirements: All three members must work for the same company at the same
physical location.

 

Corporate Membership
Coverage: Five memberships for one year
Fee: $1,020US per year
Requirements: All five members must work for the same company but they can each
be located anywhere.

 

Additional Site or Corporate Memberships
Coverage: One membership for one year
Fee: $205US per year
Requirements: These memberships can only be used when linked to an existing Site or
Corporate membership. Permission must be obtained by the ‘lead’ person on the Corporate or Site membership to add a membership to that account. Site memberships can add one Additional Site
Membership. (Adding a fifth member would result in conversion to a Corporate membership.) Corporate memberships are unlimited in size.

 

Chapter Memberships
Coverage: One membership for one year
Surcharge: Chapter surcharges vary by chapter. They range from $0 - $25US per year
Requirements: You must be a member of AFCOM before you can become a member of
a local chapter. You can only belong to one chapter.
If you are an end user you may attend one chapter meeting without being a member of AFCOM. All vendors must be an AFCOM member in order to attend any chapter meeting.
