Topic: Impacts of Hyper-converged Infrastructure for Data Centers

Hyper-Converged Infrastructure is changing the way IT hardware is deployed and operated in data centers. It is not uncommon for these solutions to easily exceed 20kW/rack, with several solutions on the market easily configured to need 40-50kW/rack. This level of high density creates a new set of challenges for anyone working with or within data centers.

Hear from end-user peers as to their experience planning for and implementing this new disruptive technology bringing significant impact to data center design, construction, operations, and management. We will have a panel discussion that will discuss the following important topics on this subject:

Overview of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure

- What hyper-converge means for end-users

- Benefits of hyper converge to the business

- Impacts on data center teams

- Density impacts to Data Center Design function

- Equipment impacts when deploying in Data Centers

- Space/power/cooling impacts

- Lessons learned
