Denver Chapter March Meeting

We are proud to host Dean Nelson Head of Compute for Uber and founder of Infrastructure Masons for a great presentation and networking with not only AFCOM members but students from Colorado School of Mines

Dean Nelson, founder of the Infrastructure Masons, will discuss the thoughts around facility classification and where the industry might be headed. Infrastructure Masons, a group dedicated to connecting, growing and giving back among digital infrastructure professionals, is investigating the possibility up updating data center classifications to meet the needs of the next 20 years of industry use.

In addition, Dr. Greg Jackson, Colorado School of Mines professor and head of the Mechanical Engineering department, will give a talk about distributed power and new fuel cell technology and how it applies to the data center industry.

Students and faculty of Colorado School of Mines are invited to attend this special meeting of AFCOM Denver-Rocky Mountain. Come and interact with industry leaders and aspiring newcomers from the dynamic data center industry.
