With physical incursions on the rise, having the proper physical security is a must.  This presentation will be a forum of industry experts, including members from i2G, discussing security strategies in a structured conversation.  Moderated by the head of physical security for Liquid Web, we plan to discuss issues that range from ingress and tailgating, to fencing and camera technologies.  This will help anyone in facilities create a modern and secure facility.

Physical infrastructure in the data center is more than just power and cooling.  The network layer of the data center has changed as much as power and cooling.  It could be the progression of multi-mode fiber from OM2 to OM3, or OM4 (and beyond), the decline of copper 10 Base T, or the number of connections needed. The network backbone needs to be thought about and upgraded just like power and cooling.
