Please join the AFCOM Melbourne Chapter for an exclusive behind-the-scenes evening at NEXTDC M2, one of Australia's most advanced data centre facilities.

This is a rare opportunity to step inside an operational data centre, hear directly from the engineers and construction leads who brought M2 to life, and connect with industry peers over drinks and networking.

The event includes:
- A moderated panel session, 'Engineering M2: Architecture, Resilience & Energy Smart Design' - tracing M2's journey from initial blueprint to live operations, covering key engineering and construction challenges, the design decisions driving resilience, sustainability and operational performance, and the commissioning methodology that brought it all together. Panellists are from NEXTDC, Aurecon, and Kapitol Group, moderated by AFCOM Melbourne Chapter Board Member James Braunegg.
- A technical industry presentation from Vertiv, global leader in critical digital infrastructure, exploring the infrastructure forces shaping the next generation of data centres, including power densification, advanced liquid cooling, and AI-ready design (TBC content)
- A guided site tour of NEXTDC M2 for up to 30 registered participants to an exclusive view of the data halls

Due to the secure and operational nature of the facility, total attendance is strictly capped at 70 guests. All attendees must provide full contact details and a government-issued photo ID at registration.
