Tony Riley Bio

Tony is National Manager at Yurika Telecoms a Government owned Corporation that works with business to provide resilient high capacity telecommunications services.

Tony has been in business management roles for over 40 years from front line management positions to executive management in multiple verticals, Retail, Commercial and ICT to name a few. With a strong business mind set he offers the non IT perspective on IT investments and business projects from desktop as a service to Telecoms and IoT deployment.

Ben Taylor Bio

Ben Taylor is the National Data Centre Infrastructure Manager and Qld State Data Centre Manager at Interactive PTY LTD.

Ben is primarily responsible for the delivery of services and operation of the Data Centre capability provided from multiple locations here in Qld, including our Eight Mile Plains and Polaris Data Centre. Additionally, Ben maintains management and oversight for all of Interactive’s critical Data Centre infrastructure in QLD, NSW and Victoria.

Prior to joining Interactive in 2019, Ben was the Director of Data Centre and Networks for the Queensland Government. During his time in the Government he was responsible for the delivery of service from two primary Enterprise class data centres (Polaris and 317 Edward Street, Brisbane) as well as 50+point of presence. Ben has 20+ years of experience in operating and managing Data Centres here in Queensland.

Mick Joslin Bio

Mick has more than 25 years of experience in ICT infrastructure. His detailed understanding of operations, design and management comes from the time he spent during his career working as a data centre manager, technical consultant and communications/electrical construction manager.

Mick founded iiSolutions in 2004 and today remains hands-on in his role as he focuses on his clients’ physical infrastructure and puts his expertise to work. Through iiSolutions partners Mick has a key insight into Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and monitoring systems. He is pleased to be able to contribute to the Brisbane AFCOM chapter as their Secretary.

Warren Knight Bio

Warren is currently the Facilities Manager at the Polaris Data Centre in Springfield for Veolia Energy Solutions. Veolia integrate the most advanced energy solutions, including district heating and cooling networks, multi-technical services, production of industrial utilities and even comprehensive building management systems into major Data Centres and commercial buildings globally.

Warren has 27 years’ experience in refrigeration, air conditioning and management of facilities. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the chapter and enjoys sharing his knowledge with other chapter members.

Vic Phillips Bio

Vic Phillips is the National Defence Business Development Manager for Stulz Oceania. Vic is an experienced Sales professional with over 25 years’ working in the Critical Infrastructure space across a diverse range of sectors, including state and local governments, Defence, education, mining, oil; gas, finance and banking, utilities and Data Centres.

Vic is passionate about Critical Power and Cooling technology and Data Centre environments and his aim is to stay abreast of the latest trends, from advancements in the Information Technology to smart cities and buildings.

Vic has extensive knowledge across all levels of the physical layer environment, from Copper and Optical Fibre networks, 19" Enclosures, UPS and Critical Cooling systems.

With his years of experience and recent certificate as a CDCP, Vic is excited to be part of the Brisbane AFCOM chapter.
