Michael Hunt Bio

Data Center Manager, Nationwide Children's Hospital

Michael is the Data Center Manager for Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of America’s largest not-for-profit free-standing pediatric health care systems providing unique expertise in pediatric population health. Michael has over 30 years of experience supporting and managing IT infrastructure from desktops, servers, storage, and now data center facilities. Michael is an Accredited Operations Specialist.

In Michael’s current position, he is responsible for managing staff which installs, maintains, monitors, analyzes, and troubleshoots data center facilities and systems at both the primary location and the secondary location. Michael provides overall day to day management and support of daily operations and systems within the data center. In addition, he provides data center engineering expertise including long term technical planning, process, and standards development. Michael ensures a high level of service and support and provides consistent process and procedures within and between Nationwide Children’s Hospital datacenters.

Jim Hayes Bio

CTO, Mid-Atlantic of DartPoints

Jim is an experienced technical officer with 27+ years of IT (Information Technology) experience. Jim has used his experience and expertise to serve and support the IT and Data Center community.

Currently Jim is the CTO, Mid-Atlantic, for DartPoints where he is responsible for supporting sales executives, proving portfolio value to prospects and customers, and relationship management of key contacts. As a trusted subject matter expert in solution-based technologies, Jim provides guidance of product definition and works to develop innovative technology strategies within the office of the CTO.

Previously, Jim was the CTO of Metro Data Center, LLC running the professional services, managed services, and cloud offerings. Jim directed infrastructure and technology, which included the Dublin Entrepreneurial Center and support ownership for the Dublink 100gb Network. Jim managed all Data Center project aspects including services implementation, management processes, security, and service offerings.

Gilbert Wilson Bio

RCDD, Director of Business Development, Network9, LLC

Gilbert is an experienced Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) in all aspects of Information Transport Systems (ITS). Gilbert provides Design / Build and Design / Bid / Build wired, wireless, and field implementation solutions to Enterprise level Fortune 1000 clients, as well as Health Care, Higher Education, National Roll-Outs, Manufacturing and Distribution.

Currently Gilbert directs business development and strategic planning for Network9, LLC (N9). N9’s growth has been directly fueled by our team’s ability to provide repeatable, flexible, scalable, high quality solutions that exceed client expectations in the Data Center as well as in the local area network.

Emily Kimple Bio

President and CFO of Data Center Solutions, Inc.

As President and CFO, Emily utilizes over 15 years of professional experience in business consulting, entrepreneurial-leadership, and finance to direct Data Center Solutions. Responsibilities include company leadership and oversight, sales, fiscal management, contract negotiations, and employee management. Data Center Solutions provides data center managers and IT professionals with an array of solutions specializing in technical cleaning of critical areas and many of the newest technologies in the industry. Many of our clients will utilize our expertise and vast network of end-users and vendors to identify solutions to the challenges they face on a daily basis. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from The Ohio State University.

Kenneth Brown Bio

Technical Architect, Ohio Health

Kenneth Brown is an experienced professional with 25+ years experience managing a building Data Centers and Colocation facilities. Kenneth is a graduate of DeVry University. Kenneth started his career on the west coast building out sites and managing the Field Service team for CompuServe, Kenneth relocated in the mid 90’s to the Columbus Ohio area to manage the eastern US managing all facilities from Montreal to Miami FL. Kenneth currently in the Technical Architect for OhioHealth.

Jason Mitchell Bio

Senior Electrical Engineer | Global Facilities, Burns & McDonnell

Mr. Mitchell is a senior engineer with 18 years of experience, professionally licensed for the past 12 years. He is responsible for and designer of electrical systems for various mission critical, educational, healthcare, institutional, commercial, and governmental clients. Work involves power distribution system design, emergency power systems design, arc flash modeling and analysis, lighting system design, fire detection system design, engineering field studies, preparation of construction and electrical equipment specifications, preparation of and design and approval of construction drawings and bid documents, electrical facility assessment reports, and master planning for campus environments.

Matt Hartman Bio

Data Center Specialist, Graybar

Matt is a 35-year industry veteran. He has served as a sales professional and owner of cabling installation companies, as a Sales Engineer for an international manufacturer, as a consultant and trusted advisor, and as a Data Center Specialist for Graybar. He serves as a board member and past President of The Association of Technology Professional of Ohio.

Matt currently supports Data Center Customers in a 5-state area for Graybar. Those customers include Hyperscale Data Centers, Multi-Tenant Data Centers, and Enterprise Data Centers. He is also a mentor and technology trainer for the 5 state Pittsburgh district for Graybar.

Matt is a lifelong learner, and is well versed in the fast-paced changes faced by today’s data centers, from AI and Liquid Cooling to the increasing power demands needed to run today’s data centers. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
