MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome to the Greater Kansas City AFCOM page!  We serve both Kansas and Missouri. 
 
We know IT….and we work in IT everyday!  We devote our time to support Data Centers and IT infrastructure locally and around the world through education, services, and professional networking.  We hold four events per calendar year that involve networking, food, coffee or drinks and educational content.   Everyone’s time is important so we strive to make it worthwhile for you to attend our events.
 
We give back!  Charitable work is a large driver for members of the GKC Board.  Funds from our annual golf tournament  allow us to partner and support local 501c3 organizations that provide career building opportunities for todays’ youth!  We couldn’t do this without our members and IT industry partners!  We’ve partnered with groups like, KC Stem Alliance, IDEA Space, WeCodeKC, aSTEAMvillage and Geeks For Kids! 
 
The GKC Board is made up of End-Users, Engineers, and Vendors representing many aspects of the IT industry.  We volunteer our time for the GKC Board, but do so out of passion for our industry and the desire to make it better!
