Dale Walker Bio

Dale Walker is the General Manager and Vice President of Sales for Bud Griffin & Associates – Austin.

Dale has 30 years of combined electrical, datacom and computer room air conditioning experience and has served in the capacity of both end user and contractor. He has a deep understanding of the complexities of the relationship between these two areas.

Coby Busch Bio

Coby Busch is an IT and data center professional, currently serving as a Senior Account Manager at WESCO, a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks. As an Outside Sales Manager at Wesco, I lead a team of sales professionals who deliver supply chain solutions for the telecommunications and construction industries. I have a proven track record of exceeding quota, driving new opportunities, and managing key accounts across Austin Texas and by joining the AFCOM Board, Coby looks forward to helping shape the future of the industry for the benefit of all members.

Russ Johnson Bio

Mr. Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer for True North Consulting Group; a national independent consulting firm focused on strategic consulting in the areas of infrastructure, audiovisual, safety and security, and complex data center environments. He has worked with organizations of all sizes throughout the country to plan and develop long-term strategies for technology. Mr. Johnson and his firm are committed to educating its clients and providing personalized services to help them find their own True North!

Before True North Consulting Group, Mr. Johnson was the Chief Executive Officer for TFE, Technology for Education, headquartered in Waco, Texas. Under Mr. Johnson’s leadership, TFE grew from four employees to nearly 150 over the course of fifteen years, becoming one of the largest, most recognized regional technology integrators in the State. Realizing the need for a true independent technical advisor, Mr. Johnson and a few that shared his passion, came together to form True North Consulting Group.

Mr. Johnson is married to his wife, Dr. Mandy Johnson, who is a Principal at a local elementary school. Together they have seven daughters ranging in ages from eight to thirty. Mr. Johnson is passionate about technology, but even more importantly the differentiation it provides when appropriately aligned, adopted, and integrated into the culture and climate of an organization.

Benny Bello Bio

Benny Bello - Infrastructure Manager Leander ISD

I have been with Leander ISD for 15 years and have been in my current role for 5-6 years. My background is Audio/ Video , and communication and infrastructure cabling backbone. I have been in this field for almost 27 years now. My current responsibilities have me responsible for many aspects in the school district to include UPS, closet design, fiber optic ring, phone systems, and many other items. I started in this field early in life, getting my first taste while serving in the Marine Corps, have been in every role from grunt to, Project Manager, Sales, and now the customer side. If I am not working in this field of work, I am living the country life with my family and our small ranch. I am looking forward to seeing and meeting all of you soon.

Unmatched knowledge, experience and Business relationship with End Users, Contractors, Consultants and Distributors within The Central Texas landscape. Core competencies include communications, networking, security and data center.

Christine Ficke Bio

Christine Ficke is currently an Account Manager at Electra Link. Electra Link offers the installation of low voltage cabling, audio visual and security. She has been in the technology industry for over 20 years covering Central Texas.

Her background includes strategic account management for top tier data center accounts, along with partnership and joint technology development with the leading global network and SAN vendors. Prior to that as Account Manager, she worked with enterprise clients, service providers, and network OEMs on data center and equipment efficiency designs.
