Geoff Hubbard Bio

Geoff Hubbard is an IT Professional with 12 years of experience in Network Engineering and Data Center Operations. He is currently the Data Center Operations Manager for the Advanced Technology Center at World Wide Technology.

The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) is a collaborative ecosystem used to design, build, educate, demonstrate and deploy innovative technology products and integrated architectural solutions for our customers, partners and employees around the globe. The heart of the ATC is our Data Centers which house 350+ racks of equipment used to cut technology evaluation time from months to weeks, if not days.

Gib Van Cleve Bio

Gib has over twenty years of IT leadership experience at the mid-size enterprise level of global and metropolitan based organizations. He has led the progressive change of IT departments to virtual infrastructure, large scale adoption of cloud computing technologies, and implementation of best practices. As the Asst. Director of ITS for the St. Louis County Library District, Gib and his staff are responsible for the network computing infrastructure and systems that support the information technology needs of St. Louis County’s twenty library branches.

Steve has more than 30 years industry experience and has been involved in the planning, design, operations and support of mission critical facilities. His experience includes evaluation of site selection, implementation of facility layout, capacity planning, facility management, installation services, design of mechanical, electrical, fire protection and detection, and security systems. He began his career as an entrepreneur and partner/president of a St. Louis-based records management company before merging with an international company, Recall Total Information Management. His operations experience includes installation and evaluation of critical systems, project management and consulting services.

He is Director Business Development of Murphy Company – Data Center Services. Murphy Company – DCS provides nationwide strategic integration of all crucial facility infrastructure components. From consulting to design/build and preventative maintenance.

Steve is past president of CompTIA AITP – St. Louis Chapter, formerly Association of IT Professionals, and has spoken on off-site data security and data center infrastructure management to a number of professional organizations. He is currently a member of the board and Director of Programs and Membership for AFCOM St. Louis Gateway Chapter. He is also past president of AITP – St. Louis Chapter, formerly Data Processing Management Association.

Tad Davies Bio

Since 1987, Tad, has been focused on data center performance and consults regularly with executives and operational teams. Tad is President of Fodere. He advises clients nationally on Business Centric strategy issues such as consolidation, colocation selection, build vs. buy, cost modeling and Facility Centric strategy issues such as risk assessment, new data center programming, owner’s representation, and maintenance program improvement. Tad is a board member of AFCOM’s Data Center Institute.

Tad has been involved with AFCOM for 20 years and has attended all Data Center World’s Spring and Fall Conferences during that time. He was born in Melbourne, Australia and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Tulane University’s Business School.
