Much is now known about how to operate a data center efficiently, but the industry is still figuring out the most sustainable, yet reliable and cost-effective way to build data centers. A panel of experts, moderated by Ron Vokoun, will discuss what can (and what is) being done to limit our climate impact when constructing greenfield data centers, and also touch on what can be done for upgrades to existing sites.
By attending this webinar you will learn: • How and when to use salvaged or reclaimed materials • Ways to reduce cement usage • When prefabricated and modular solutions are the answer • Which certifications and organizations can guide your sustainable construction • How sustainable approaches to construction impact costs AFCOM webinars are typically available exclusively to AFCOM members.
